Chocolate Chip bread Pudding (Will)
- 10 slices day-old bread bread
- 2 Tsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sweet chocolate chips
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 9X13 glass pan (I use a 9 X 9 casserol container -W.)
- Break bread into small pieces, spread into baking pan.
- Drizzle additional melted butter if desired. Sprinkle in about 1/2 of the chocolate chips.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, butter, and vanilla.
- Beat until well mixed, then pour over the bread, and light push bread into the mixture.
- Sprinkle the remainder of the chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes, until golden and top springs back when lightly tapped.
